Watch Later list manager privacy policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Watch Later list manager is a browser extension for managing your YouTube Watch Later list.

No data collection. Watch Later list manager does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal data. It has no server, no analytics and no tracking.
Local only. Your settings, saved filter and reminder interval are stored in your browser with chrome.storage.local. They never leave your device and are deleted when you remove the extension.
Your Watch Later list is read from the YouTube page you have open, only to show and filter it inside the extension. Removals are done through YouTube's own page controls.
Exports (CSV and JSON) are saved only to your own computer, where you choose.
External link. The "tykkle" badge links to tykkle.com. Opening it is your choice, and Watch Later list manager sends no data with it.

Permissions

storage: Saves your theme, the optional saved filter and the reminder interval in chrome.storage.local, on your device only.
alarms: Schedules the optional reminder you turn on in settings. Never used when the reminder is set to "never".
notifications: Shows the reminder ("Time to tidy your Watch Later list"). Clicking it opens your Watch Later page.
Access to www.youtube.com: Content scripts run only on www.youtube.com: the panel on your Watch Later page, and a small helper that recognises the "Remove from Watch Later" menu item. The extension makes no network requests of its own.
